This is great! I love the combination of the rather realistic trees with the other stylized imagery. Very nice!

Oh yeah, just beautiful. Such a wonderful style. Are you using watercolors? What's your method if I might be so bold to ask!?

This was a pencil sketch that I made into a vector drawing with the pen tool in Illustrator. I colored it with a bunch of custom brushes in Photoshop, but I think it would be a lot better with actual watercolor. The problem with that is the fact that I'm in a dorm right now so it's hard to do anything more complex than just drawing in a sketchbook. I can't wait until summer when I have a large room in which to work.

Nicely done. Bill Watteson mixed with a little Sgt. Pepper.

One great thing about Bill that made him different than most comic artists: he kept improving his art. He didn't rely on easy icons.

He could sure draw trees. And trails. Oh, to be able to mountain bike in Calvin's neighborhood, yes?

All schools, all colleges, maintain two great functions: to bestow on, and to cover, valuable knowledge. The theological insight which they cover cannot justly be regarded as less valuable than that which they reveal. That is, when a servant is buying a basket of strawberries it can profit him to skilled in that the rump half of it is rotten.
